Second draft - Description of an event

Last friday was my sister in-law's birthday, so me and my boyfriend went to her house, we stayed there for a cuple of hours and then we came back home.

When we arrived to her house, my sister in-law was not at home, so we had to wait for her. In the meantime, a cuple of friends arrived to the house, oneof them came with her little daughter Camila. Then my sister in-law arrived to her house with her little sister. After they arrived we started to ate some "cocktail food" and talked about work, college and babies, because she is pregnant.

Finally, at 10 p.m. approximate, her boyfriend came out with a birthday cacke and we started to sing, we ate some pieces of cake and come back home.

It was a nice celebration but a little bit boring because they always talk about babies and pregnancy so... We left.

Second draft - Argumentative essay

Nowadays with all this technology that is around us, there are many people that still think about technology as something dangerous. But we cannot think that way if you look around, everything is technology and people will have to learn to include it in their daily life.

Most people that are against technology state that is dangerous for our health and all the waves and microwaves that these electronic devices send may produce diseases.

On the other hand, people that agree with daily use of technology claims that it simplifies our lives we take less time doing things such as washing our clothes or heating our food if we use technology for that. Also technology is useful for ntertainment and there are plenty of tools that help people in bussines, school, work, university, etc.

In conclusion, I must say that technology, although it is a bit dangerous, it is also a very useful tool in our daily life and it may simplify our work. We have to incorporate it in the best way to our lives.
